Counselling Online

Counselling Online allows you to communicate with a professional counsellor about an alcohol or drug related concern using text interaction. This service is free for anyone seeking help with their own drug use or the drug use of a family member, relative, or friend. Counselling Online is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week across Australia.

Australian Drug Information Network

The Australian Drug Information Network website provides a directory of places in all states and territories in Australia, where it is possible to seek information and services to assist with alcohol and other drug related issues.

Drug Info

Drug Info provides information about alcohol and other drugs. They also provide a SMS service where you can text the name of a drug to the number below and receive a reply listing a number of the drug’s effects and links to find further information.

Family Drug Support provides information and support for families of drug and alcohol users, including a 24hour support line.

Drug and Alcohol Specialist Advisory Service

The Drug and Alcohol Specialist Advisory Service (DASAS) is a clinician only service where health professionals such as General Practitioners can get advice from addiction medicine specialist on how to manage patients in their services.
